Welcome to the official website for the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI) Joint Military Training Environmental Impact Statement (EIS).
The United States (U.S.) Marine Corps is preparing a Final EIS in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) to support land-based expeditionary ground and aviation warfare training for all service components within lands leased by the military on the island of Tinian in the CNMI. This website is the online center for public information and involvement in the EIS process.
The U.S. Marine Corps, Pacific is the Official Sponsor of this project website.
The Marine Corps is considering all relevant comments submitted during the public review and comment period in the preparation of the Final EIS which will be released in the summer.
